Nestled in the heart of Iiyama’s snow country, Annie’s Place offers a quiet and private retreat for families while staying conveniently close to Nagano’s best ski resorts.

Option 1 — Via Iiyama Station (Smoothest & Most Comfortable)

  1. From Tokyo Station, travel on the Hokuriku Shinkansen (Hakutaka)to Iiyama Station
    ⏱ 1 hour 40 minutes
  2. From Iiyama Station, enjoy a short taxi transferto Annie’s Place (advisable to book ahead)
    🚕 5 minutes

This is the preferred option for guests with luggage, children or evening arrivals.

Option 2 — Via Kita-Iiyama Station (Closest, Local Experience)

  1. From Iiyama Station, transfer to the JR Iiyama Line(local service)
  2. Travel one stopto Kita-Iiyama Station
    ⏱ 5 minutes
  3. Enjoy a gentle 250-metre walk (5 minutes)to Annie’s Place
  • Kindly Note
  • Kita-Iiyama Station is a small, unmanned local station
  • Services are infrequent, so advance timetable checks are recommended
  • There are no taxis at this station
  • Best suited to daytime arrivals with light luggage

By Car (From Tokyo)

  1. Travel north via the Kan-Etsu Expressway
  2. Continue onto the Jōshin-etsu Expressway
  3. Exit at Toyoda-Iiyama IC
  4. Follow local signage toward Iiyama City
  5. Annie’s Place is approximately 15 minutesfrom the interchange

🚗 Complimentary on-site parking is available for guests

❄️ Winter travel note: Snow tyres or chains are required during the winter months (December–March).
